SalesTrainers is run by Paul, using his detailed knowledge of professional sales and his pedigree in growing sales revenues and profitability:

  • Over 30 years Sales and Business Development experience in Services, Consultancy and Technology organisations
  • Three 'Top International Salesperson of the Year' awards and two runner-up awards at global Technology corporations
  • UK, European, US and Japanese business experience
  • Served on the boards of quoted and private enterprises
  • Held responsibility for driving revenues in the £ hundreds of millions 

Bio

​After graduating with a science degree, I started my career  in computer programming.
​
​In this role I met many salespeople, who all seemed to have much more interesting, exciting and better paid jobs than me!
​
So in my mid-20's I applied for a Trainee Sales position in the UK, selling for a US Technology Corporation. As a Trainee I was supported by the company with regular sales training. 
 
Here I won:

  • Top New Account Achiever of the Year
  • First Quarter Top International Salesperson
  • Third Quarter Top International Salesperson 
  • International Salesperson of the Year
  • Runner-up International Salesperson of the Year (the following year)
  • Runner-up International Salesperson of the Year again (two years later)
  • EMEA Top New Account Achiever of the Year

My next career step was selling Technology and Services for a global Japanese Corporation, who again invested in ongoing sales training for their salesforce. 
​
​Here I won:

  • ​Top European Salesperson of the Year
  • ​Top European Salesperson of the Year again (two years later)​
  • Top European New Name Region
​
​​I then joined a quoted UK IT recruitment and HR services company as Director of Business Development.
 
Here I led the international business development team, and achieved a 70% growth in international revenue.
​
​Since that time I have held senior positions in Business Development, Sales and Sales Development across a variety of business sectors.   
​​
Throughout my career I have received (and delivered) sales training, which has been the key foundation in supporting  sales success.
